When you make a planned gift to Village Christian Foundation ("VCF"), you play a direct role in ensuring that our work to provide the most outstanding ministry to the community of Rancho Santa Fe and the greater San Diego area continues well beyond our lifetimes.

There are many ways to leave a legacy of ongoing ministry in Rancho Santa Fe:

• INCLUDE VILLAGE CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION IN YOUR WILL
  You may allocate a specific amount or percentage of your estate or other assets to the Foundation.You may state after other beneficiaries have been provided for, the remaining funds shall go to VCF. VCF’s federal tax ID number is 91-2145773. For information on bequest language, check out this page.
• SOLVE REAL ESTATE PROBLEMS
  Ever wondered “what to do with the house?” If children have moved away, your principal home or vacation spot can be a burden. You can give your house to VCF – retaining the right for you and your spouse to live there for your lifetimes. You gain an immediate tax deduction and peace of mind.
• RETIREMENT PLAN DESIGNATION
  Choose Village Christian Foundation as a beneficiary of your retirement plan. The gift is exempt from federal estate tax and is a way to maximize the benefit of your gift and minimize taxes.
• CREATE A CHARITABLE REMAINDER UNITRUST
  A Charitable Remainder Unitrust is a tax-exempt trust that pays a variable stream of income to your designee. When the trust terminates, the remaining assets would be paid to Village Christian Foundation.
• CREATE A CHARITABLE REMAINDER ANNUITY TRUST
  A Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust is a tax-exempt trust that pays fixed income to your designee. When the trust terminates, the remaining assets would be paid to Village Christian Foundation.
• NAME VCF AS A BENEFICIARY OF YOUR LIFE INSURANCE POLICY
  There are many ways you can use your life insurance policy to benefit both you, by maximizing your federal income tax deduction, and Village Christian Foundation. You can simply bequeath a specific amount or percentage of your life insurance policy to VCF.
